Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?

Smart casual is fine; you may want a layer to take off if you get a little warm.
Shoes: - Trainers, sandals, flip flops and heavy shoes are not recommended. For the girls, a low heel shoe with non-grip sole. For the guys, light shoes with a non-grip sole.
After a while you will find professional dances shoes make your dancing much more comfortable.

What is the age group?

Our adult evening classes are popular with people in their 20's through to 70's so don't be afraid to have a go. Dancing is for everyone and, whatever your age, you will be welcome. The only age restriction is that you must be over 18 or be over 16 partnered by a parent of guardian.

I think I've got two left feet, will I cope?

Book yourself in to one of our new beginner courses. All people in our classes have the same goal; they want to have fun while learning to dance. Stick to the course and practice as much as possible, after a few weeks you will settle down. If you need any extra help book a personal lesson to meet your requirements, we can work at a pace to suit you.
